Time Change on the Ship

The first night/morning.

All four of us had been up since Friday at 7:30 a.m or earlier and this was Saturday 8:00 p.m. We decided to go to bed early Saturday night and get up about 8 a.m and eat at the breakfast buffet to get our day started.

Dan set his alarm on his phone for 7:20 a.m then we were just going to give our other group a wake up call about 7:30 for them to get ready. His alarm went off on his phone in the morning. I got up first, looked at his phone, it said 11:44. I was freaking out because it was super late and we were 4 hours late eating breakfast. So, I hurried and jumped in the shower, got out of the shower and woke up Dan really quick. I told him it was 11:44, that we were running late, we have to get up and get our day started. He said there was no way that it was 11:44 already. I looked at my phone and it said 5:44, don't know if it was a.m or p.m. Turned on the T.V (to the ship channel that had time and travel itinerary) and it said it was 4:44 a.m. Ha ha.

I was wondering why I was the only one up and I didn't hear a peep out of anybody else. I guess I was excited to get the day started. :) So, I just laughed it off and got back in bed. We learned our lesson and used the "wake up call" option from the front desk when we had to be up before 8 a.m on our excursion days. Dan's phone was 5 hours off and mine was an hour off. I guess the water screws everybody's phone up. I'm just glad I told Dan instead of calling the other room and waking them up at 4 in the morning.
