Tuesday, May 8th

We didn't have anything planned for today. Okay, so maybe I did have some kind of plan to finish the landscaping, but who wants to work hard on such a nice day...ugh

Well, I planned on taking the kids swimming at the Y. When we got to the Y, there were a lot of cars there for a Tuesday morning at 10 a.m. Keira's swimming lessons were done, so I figured everybody was done with swimming lessons, of course not! They had swimming lessons until 11:30, which means no one else can swim until swimming lessons are done for that day.

So, I reversed my plans and went to get Keira's glasses adjusted first. They fall off of her when she looks down. They tightened them and now she said they feel better. If they would have done that in the first place they wouldn't have to do it now...right?

Anyway, while we were at the eye place, I decided to get Keira another pair of glasses. Just in case something happens to happen to her glasses that she has now. You have to wait 2-3 weeks for new glasses, so if something happens/ed to her glasses that she has now, we would be screwed. The new ones that she is getting has the transition lenses on them so when she goes outside they turn into sunglasses, which I think she will love.

I did do some of the landscaping that I had planned on doing. I had to get the old mulch out, pull weeds, and put the new mulch in. Talk about a pain in the ass! Needless to say, I only got half of it done. Aden and Keira played outside, riding their bikes and playing on the swings and slide while I did my yard work. Taygen was napping.
